Watching my BIL’s 14-week old Rotty puppy is not easy. But it’s a hell of a lot easier than watching my nephew.

They play nice, but the vibes I get is she'd prefer the company of dogs her age and not puppers.

Starred for the tag.
Also, CPS was called on my parents once when I was a kid and they almost took us away because my grandfather had built a locking cover for the crib because my brothers kept climbing out at night and the older one had fallen when he climbed out years before. Seriously, kids.

As the parent of a 12 year-pit bull and 7/5 year old children... dogs are the master race.
However, I’m tasked with socializing our old ass
pit with my dad’s mastiff puppy before we head out to Hawaii in a few weeks. Good times.

Is it better for them to be in something they can’t fall out of like a foot from the bed of their parents or falling four feet to the ground?
Also, if it didn’t lock from the outside, they’d just open it up and still climb out (they initially just put a cover on it, but my brothers could lift it).
